I started HVAC in 1986 right out of high school with Royden. I worked new construction for 11 months and moved on. My next place of work was Bergman heating. I did mostly new construction for a little over a year and moved on. After experiencing other job titles I came back to HVAC at Holmes heating in1990 out of Lehi. The first two years I designed and installed gas pipe systems the next 12 or so years doing new construction and remodels. This is when I started my schooling, a 4-year journeyman course at UVSC. I graduated this course in the top three of my class. I attended a course, required by the state of Utah, called Rocky Mountain Gas Association certification, this is a tuff course with a 65% failure rate. I passed the course on first test with an 89%
For the next 6 years I worked mostly service with a few remodels. I then moved on to Stewarts heating out of Provo. Starting here I worked for 5 years on huge remodels in Salt Lake City. Some of these systems provided heat by hydronics, So I was then certified for installing and servicing Rinnai on demand water heaters. Each of the remodels lasting a little over 2 years each, as the master journeyman on the job. I then spent about a year remodeling phase 2 of Dougway residential housing project. This is when the Economy crash of 2008 happened. I changed up my career and went into apartment and building maintenance using my education and experience to help people. I’ve done apartment and building maintenance for 5 years I now work for Vision Real estat
